THE STORY OF THE SISTER FLOWER

Once upon a time, there were two sisters, Net and Na, who were orphans and lived in a small house on the side of a mountain. When I love Na, I give up everything. Winter night, the wind whistled into the house, Net wrapped her arms around her:

– Are you cold?

Na hugged her, giggling:

– So warm!

He hugged me tighter and whispered:

– Mom said, we are two roses, I am the big one, you are the small one. Sisters, let’s be together forever!

Na nodded. The two sisters continued to hug each other and sleep.

That year, the flood waters rose, Net carried her brother and ran with the villagers to safety. Net’s feet were bleeding. Seeing that, the Buddha felt very sorry for him. He raised his magic stick. Strangely, Net’s foot suddenly healed completely. Where Net’s feet passed, crimson flowers grew. Flowers form clusters, large flowers protect small flower buds. They are as beautiful as the sisterhood of Net and Na.

The villagers named that flower the sister flower.

(According to Tran Manh Hung)

2. That night, the younger brother thought: “My brother still has to take care of his wife and children. If my share of rice is the same as his, it’s unfair.” Thinking so, the younger brother went to the fields to get his rice and add it to his brother’s share.

3. That same night, the brother discussed with his wife: “My sister lives alone and has a hard time. If our share is the same as his share, it’s not fair.” Then he went to the field to get his rice and add it to my share.

4. The next morning, the two brothers went to the fields together. They were very surprised to see that the two piles of rice were still the same.

Until one night, the two brothers went to the field to see why there was such a strange thing. They met each other, each holding bundles of rice in their hands, intending to give more to the other. Both were emotional and hugged each other.
